今日の教職員朝礼の時間に敬愛高等学校の記念品を贈呈しました。先生たちはとても喜んでいただきました。

今日の活動の様子を生徒が紹介します。

石丸 真緒です。今日はオリエンテーションとバディの紹介です。

 I spent great time at school today.

First, we learned about Maori culture.

Maori are the indigenous people of New Zealand.

We watched a traditional Maori performance, then we tried it.

It was difficult for me to play it, but communicating with local students was so fun! 

Then, I found a major difference between Japan and New Zealand: Break Time!

We're able to have lunch besides our lunch break.

I enjoyed the time to eat snacks or fruits with my friends and buddie.

Also, I took classes with my buddie.

I was very excited since all classes were conducted in English!!

As soon as classes were done, I went shopping in the supermarket.

I could find many groceries we cannnot see in Japan.

Today, we had steaks. I helped my host family cook dinner and we had a nice time!

I have been worried about making friends.

But my worries disappeared because many students welcomed us with smiles and talked to me!

I'd like to fully enjoy school life!!
